Turnure Medical Group in partnership with the Healing Grove Health Center Foundation is providing health care to Afghan Refugees.

Paul grew up in Davis, California, the son of two college professors. After graduating from Davis with a degree in Engineering, he started a long career at HP. Paul is passionate about working with the most vulnerable and is a strategic volunteer with World Relief Sacramento. Paul enjoys working in the intersection of business and kingdom work where passionate business leaders can contribute their gifts to God’s kingdom. Paul also is a Ski and Bike patrolman in the Sierras and on the American River Bike Trail.
Born in Iran and raised in a mixed Muslim and Atheist household, Keivan struggled to find meaning and purpose in life till his senior year of high school. Keivan became an Iran/Iraq war immigrant to the Bay Area in 1982. He completed two Bachelor’s degrees from UC Davis and a Masters Degree from Fuller Seminary. Keivan is the Global Compassion Pastor at WestGate Church and the co-founder and Executive Director of Compassion Bridges, an organization focused on raising up leaders of all ages and sharing the love and compassion of God in the Bay Area and around the world.
Mike is a retired healthcare technology executive. Retirement has offered him the chance to refocus his time, energy, and resources to Kingdom activities through participation in the Barnabas Group. He is also active in his church and a leader in Bible Study Fellowship.

Arash Ahmadi
Outreach Coordinator
Arash is the outreach coordinator for NorCal Refuge. Arash leads a Farsi speaking Iranian ministry at the Destiny Sacramento campus that is reaching Afghan refugees. Arash and his wife Ailin were themselves refugees escaping religious persecution in Iran. After fleeing Iran and becoming refugees in Turkey for six years, Arash and Ailin resettled in California in 2018.

Ailin leads outreach to Afghan women and supports Arash in leading the Faris ministry at the Destiny Sacramento Campus.
Hamid
Hamid supports the NorCal Refuge team, providing outreach and family support.
Alireza
Alireza is tri-lingual, fluent in verbal and written Farsi, Spanish, and English. Alireza provides with translation and family support.
